Description

Primary Oracle DBA Duties:

Oracle / c administration and support (on-prem or cloud)

Oracle Patch Management Coordination and implementation

Oracle backup and recovery planning/testing

Provide infrastructure support at all levels and after hours support as needed

Coordinate Oracle DB work with other Systems Administrators and IT Teams

Review, recommend, and implement new Oracle services as required

Support applications/systems as designated

Requirements:

Experience supporting or maintaining the following technologies:

Oracle c/ c

Oracle Data Guard

Oracle Golden Gate

Oracle RAC

Oracle Advanced Security

Oracle Data Masking

Oracle Data Redaction

Oracle Tuning and Diagnostic Pack

Oracle Multi Tenant

Oracle Enterprise Manager

Solaris

RMAN

SQL*Net

Experience supporting Disaster Recovery operations with Oracle Database technologies

Ability to develop and enforce standards and best practices

Strong documentation skills required

Ability to interact effectively and professionally with staff

Weekend and after-hours work will be required as needed

Additional Skills:

Oracle certifications or equivalents are a plus

Experience or knowledge of any other database (preferred but not essential)

Financial Services or Banking experience are a plus

College degree preferred with + years of experience in Data Base Administration with + years of experience directly supporting Oracle Database Technologies

Ability to work with a variety of personalities

The position require primary, oracle dba, oracle, support, patch management, coordination, implementation, backup, recovery, infrastructure support, review, data, guard, golden gate, oracle rac, security, solaris, disaster recovery, operations, oracle database, standards, documentation, staff, database, financial services, banking, base mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.
