Description

We are looking for an experienced "Materials Management Officer" to manage inventory and management procedures of raw materials and other supplies at our Factory premises.

The candidate should has the experience in supply chain and inventory control. They should be characterized by excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude are qualities the ideal candidate must possess.

The goal is to ensure our operations have always an adequate flow of the material they need.

Responsibilities could include:

Collaborate with other managers to determine supply needs

Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications

Coordinate and supervise receiving and warehousing procedures

Oversee distribution of supplies in the organization

Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies

Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates

Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers

Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc.

Assist in forecasting to plan future orders

Other assigned tasks as needed

Candidates having Garments industry background shall be the preference.

Job Specification

Modest is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Material Management Officer in the field of Production in one of their office located in Karachi - Pakistan. The ideal candidate should have bachelor's qualification and atleast 3 years of experience. The position require materials, inventory, supply chain, inventory control, operations, receiving, organization, availability, procurement, garments mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.Salary vary between 24k to 30k (PKR) per month depending upon skills and years of experience candidate got.
