Description

Role & Responsibilities:

As an Implementation Engineer with our MSP, the role focuses on helping dental and healthcare practices operate smoothly, securely, and efficiently. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems across on-premises, virtual, and cloud platforms, along with managing deployments, migrations, and maintenance projects in time-sensitive environments. The position ensures infrastructure reliability, compliance, and minimal disruption while working with Microsoft technologies, virtualization platforms, and cloud services to deliver client-focused solutions that meet SLAs and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy and maintain Windows Server roles on physical, virtual, and cloud platforms.

Migrate Windows Server environments within time-constrained project timelines and client SLAs.

Configure and support Microsoft services including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.

Manage and optimize virtualization platforms and Azure Virtual Machines.

Design and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Implement security standards and resource provisioning policies.

Improve efficiency through PowerShell scripting, Desired State Configuration (DSC), and Intune policies.

Monitor and maintain system health using RMM tools such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, N-able, and Datto RMM

Lead migrations and onboarding activities, including system discovery and documentation.

Deliver technical assessments and provide strategic recommendations.

Participate in client review meetings, ensuring alignment with technology roadmaps.

Provide application support and guide end-users through new solutions.

Bonus Points (Preferred Skills & Certifications)

Prior MSP or multi-client environment experience.

Performance Expectations:

Meet or exceed SLA response and resolution times.

Complete deployments and migrations on time with minimal client disruption.

Achieve positive client satisfaction scores.

Deliver projects on time and within scope.

Produce documentation that meets MSP standards.

Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, N-able, or Datto.

Knowledge of networking (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs) and security best practices.

Certifications such as Microsoft (Azure, M ), CompTIA (Network+, Security+), or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
