Description

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum (Primary/Secondary/IGCSE/O Level/A Level).

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and learning materials following CAIE standards.

Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills using modern teaching methodologies.

Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, quizzes, and term exams.

Prepare students for Cambridge checkpoints, IGCSE, or O/A Level exams.

Maintain classroom discipline and create an encouraging learning environment.

Provide feedback to students and communicate progress to parents when required.

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.

Ensure timely submission of lesson plans, assessments, and exam results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English / Education or a related field.

Experience teaching Cambridge curriculum (preferred).

Strong command of spoken and written English.

Good classroom management and student-handling skills.

Familiarity with CAIE exam patterns and marking schemes.

Ability to incorporate creative activities and digital tools in teaching.
