Description

Position: Web Server/ System Administrator (E-commerce and Retail)

Qualification: Bachelors (Computer Science/IT)

Experience: to Years Server Management would be preferred

Location: Head Office, Korangi Karachi

Requirements:

• Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments available in AWS, Digital Ocean or Google Cloud

• Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages

• IN depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, etc.

• Hands on experience with MySQL and/or MariaDB

• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Apache, MySQL, nginx, etc.

• Familiarity with GlusterFS, load balancing, firewalls, etc.

• Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts

• Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting

• Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP

• Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc

• To accommodate the high traffic in peak hours with Node /Droplet Template management

• Experience of handling servers

• Command in both verbal/written English
