Job Description
We are looking for Senior Full Stack Web Developers who are familiar with the industry best practices of modern web technologies, are excellent team players, and can motivate others to build cutting edge web applications. Responsibilities will include analyzing and optimizing existing application architectures, problem solving and implementing intuitive solutions to solve complex challenges.
On the frontend side, be able to handle the translation of our UI/UX design wireframes to code that works across different browsers and operating systems flawlessly. Ability to optimize front end code that is lightweight, fast, and seamlessly integrates with the backend is a MUST. Knowing how to improve front end speed scores of standalone apps is mandatory. Interested candidates must also have a great eye for design and be able to work with both design and development teams to ensure pixel perfect translation of mock ups to code.
On the backend side, the applicants MUST know about different architectures and be able to plan, design, and implement the RIGHT architecture based on the specifications of the app. Know how to integrate with different services such as Shopify or WooCommerce, and identify opportunities for increasing system and architecture robustness.
As the Senior Developer, the interested candidates are expected to adopt a teamplayer and fast learner mindset. They should be ready to quickly learn and guide our existing world class development team.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
● Experience with the MERN stack is a must.
● Must have professional-level experience with NodeJS and React.
● Familiarity with other stacks such as PHP, Django for the backend and VueJS, Angular for the frontend will be considered a huge plus point.
● Proficient in working with APIs and creating APIs from scratch.
● Have first hand experience with different backend architectures ( such as microservice ) and know when to use them.
● Experience designing efficient database systems that can deal with millions of users and their records.
● Knowledge on how to optimize database queries, requests, and API calls.
● Know how to pack, deploy, and run applications using docker.
● Experience with monitoring server performance for CPU and memory utilization
● Know how to performance tune long running queries and crons.
● Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML and CSS .
● Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
● Proficient understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
● Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
● Experience with Shopify and WooCommerce is a plus
