About the Role

The Product Manager – Supermicro will be responsible for managing ICT’s Supermicro server and storage product portfolio across the APAC region. You will drive product strategy, market development, vendor engagement, and channel enablement to grow Supermicro’s presence and revenue.

This role requires strong technical understanding of enterprise hardware, market insights, and the ability to work closely with vendors, partners, and internal teams.

ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Market Development

Define the growth strategy for the Supermicro product line across South Asia.

Analyze server, storage, and data center market trends to identify opportunities.

Develop product positioning, pricing strategies, and competitive comparisons.

Vendor Management (Supermicro)

Serve as the primary point of contact for Supermicro.

Manage vendor programs, certifications, updates, and incentive structures.

Coordinate product training, roadmap briefings, and joint marketing initiatives.

Channel & Partner Enablement

Support channel partners with product information, solution configuration, quotations, and positioning.

Conduct partner enablement sessions and technical briefings.

Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, system integrators, and enterprise customers.

Sales Support & Pre-Sales Coordination

Provide support to sales teams with configurations, BOM creation, and technical product details.

Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and customer presentations.

Ensure accurate and timely communication of lead times, pricing, and product updates.

Lifecycle & Operations Management

Manage the full product lifecycle, including new product introductions (NPI) and end-of-life (EOL).

Track stock availability, sell-through, and forecast demand in coordination with logistics and procurement teams.

Ensure accurate product documentation and specification materials.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor revenue, margin performance, and market penetration for the Supermicro line.

Prepare regular reports and recommendations for leadership on growth initiatives.

Identify operational gaps and propose improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

– + years of experience in product management, pre-sales, or enterprise hardware solutions.

Strong knowledge of server, storage, and data center technologies—Supermicro experience preferred.

Experience working with vendors, distributors, and enterprise customers.

Skills

Strong technical understanding of enterprise servers and configurations.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Strong analytical abilities in pricing, forecasting, and product performance tracking.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/CRM tools is beneficial.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple product lines.
