Description

We are seeking an experienced Node.js developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Node.js and related technologies and experience in developing web applications. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of our web applications and collaborating with the front-end team to integrate it with the user interface.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain the backend of our web applications using Node.js

Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code

Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end technologies

Develop and maintain APIs

Troubleshoot and debug applications

Write automated tests and ensure code quality

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features

Understand clients’ needs to build apps in the stipulated time/budget.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)

Minimum of years of professional experience in Node.js and SQL backend development

Strong proficiency in JavaScript

Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or Hapi.js

Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL

Knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP protocols, REST APIs, and web sockets

Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture

Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Mocha or Jest

Experience with version control systems such as Git

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
