Description

Are you passionate about motorcycles and looking to turn that passion into a rewarding career? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Spare Parts Interpreter Trainee to join our professional Parts and Accessories team . This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced dealership environment .

As a trainee, you will be the vital link between our customers, our workshop technicians, and the parts they need. You will learn to interpret technical manuals, manage inventory, and provide expert advice to ensure every rider gets the right part for their bike . Full in-house training, mentorship, and external certification (such as a Cert III in Automotive Sales) will be provided to help you build a long-term career in the motorcycle industry .

Key Responsibilities
Parts Interpretation & Sales: Learn to identify and interpret motorcycle parts and accessories using online catalogues, technical diagrams, and in-house systems . Assist customers (both over the counter, via phone, and email) in finding the correct parts for their specific motorcycle models, including Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Honda, and more .

Workshop Support: Source and supply parts to workshop technicians promptly and accurately to ensure scheduled services and repairs run smoothly . Coordinate with the service department to prepare parts for the next day's jobs .

Inventory Management: Assist with stock control procedures, including receiving new shipments, checking goods in and out, and maintaining organized storage . Help ensure stock levels are maintained to meet customer and workshop demands .

Administration & Customer Service: Process sales, handle cash and card transactions, prepare parts estimates and quotations, and always maintain a high level of customer satisfaction . Keep the parts department clean, tidy, and well-organized for easy part retrieval .
Who You Are (Requirements)

Passion: A genuine passion for motorcycles and the motorcycle industry .
Attitude: A strong "can-do" attitude, willingness to learn, and a dedicated work ethic . Apprenticeships require commitment over a - year period .
Aptitude: Strong technical/mechanical aptitude and an interest in how motorcycles work . Good problem-solving skills .
Customer Focus: Enjoy helping people with excellent verbal and written communication skills . Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus .
Team Player: Reliable, punctual, calm under pressure, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment .
Skills: Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, inventory systems) . Strong attention to detail and organizational skills .
Qualifications: Completion of Year (or equivalent) . A current driver's license is often required, and a motorcycle license is highly regarded .
