Responsibilities

• · Design and implementation of the overall web architecture including frontend & backend management of a pool of websites
• · “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface
• · Design and deployment of our database
• · Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
• · Design and construction of REST API
• · Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
• · Produce code, designs and other outputs for high quality
• · Generate appropriate automated tests for code
• · Troubleshoot debug and identify bugs or performance issues
• · Work towards standardised development and CI/CD deployment processes
• · Website maintenance, security protocols, upgradation, migration
• · Operate collaboratively and support and contribute to reviews in a positively constructive manner
• · Use your experience to suggest optimizations and alternative options where justified
• · Bring your experience in discussions and pro-actively contributing towards project planning
• · Work collaboratively with the business stakeholders to build new features and internal solutions

Requirements:

• + years of experience
• Can create internal application, internal platforms for database management
• Internal and client web portals for our applications
• Experience with AMP, CDN and new concepts of website speed optimizations
• Designed frontend and backend of websites
• Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
• Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
• Knowledge and experience of Agile principles and practices
• Experienced with SDLC and project development
• Experience with AWS API gateway
• Understanding of Monitoring and Alerting (Metrics, tracing and logging)
• Working closely with design to review UI and UX

Core language and platform skills

• Object orientated PHP . upwards
• PHP MVC like Zend or Laravel or Symfony
• CMS - WordPress, graphCMS
• Javascript & JQuery
• HTML
• React, Vue.js or Node.js
• GIT
• CSS / SASS / LESS
• MYSQL & mongo DB
• Experience with Cloud – AWS (preferred, AWS Amplify)
• Hooks
• Python or Django

Working understanding of the following frameworks:

• Ruby on Rails
• Stimulus JS
• Typescript
• GraphQL
