Description

• Minimum of years of experience in core Azure services related to data and analytics and deploying Azure components using PowerShell Scripting, Azure ARM Templates
• Minimum years of experience in creating ETL involving heterogeneous data sources (IBM DB , SQL Server, MySQL, Excel files, CSVs, Azure Blobs, XML, JSON, etc.) using SQL Server Integration Services, Azure Data Factories, Data Flows, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, calling REST APIs.
• Minimum years of experience in Shell Scripting to perform DBA tasks and OS related tasks such as automated monitoring file systems.
• Minimum years of experience maintaining SQL database backups and other maintenance jobs, performing ad hoc backup and restores, troubleshooting and optimizing problematic SQL queries, Query Optimization by Indexing, Partitioning and Denormalization.
• Minimum years of hands-on experience designing and developing new reports creating data driven subscriptions, maintaining, and enhancing existing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services, creating excel reports sourcing data from Azure Data Warehouse.
• Minimum years of experience with Agile development methodology and familiarity with tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Confluence is desired.
• Experience in source control systems like Git, TFS is preferred
• Gather business requirements and create and document architecture designs for enterprise Business Intelligence solutions.
• Develop new and support existing ETL processes utilizing Azure data factory, logic apps, etc. Ensure optimal infrastructure is used in Azure cloud environment.
• Document mappings of data points, describing various sources and targets, error handling, logging, etc.
• Provide support to the organization’s reporting requirements. Create ad hoc reports as requested.
• Create, publish, and schedule canned reports as requested by the business.
• Supports business teams in utilizing the Data warehouse effectively by identifying gaps in data, work on enriching Data warehouse and enable business to perform self-service functions.
• Act as a backup DBA from Austin, US location. This includes DBA activities such as performance improvements, backups and restoration of databases, etc., for IBM DB database, Azure SQL Server databases, and MySQL databases.
• Support basic Sales Force administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks. Work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes, support change management activities.
