Job Description:

Route Planning: Determine the most efficient routes for drivers based on factors such as distance, traffic conditions, and delivery schedules.
Dispatching: Assign drivers to specific routes and loads, taking into account driver availability, equipment, and customer requirements.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with drivers via phone, email, or radio to provide instructions, updates, and assistance as needed.
Tracking and Monitoring: Use tracking systems and software to monitor the progress of shipments and ensure on-time delivery. Address any delays or issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Customer Service: Act as a liaison between customers and drivers, addressing inquiries, providing updates on delivery status, and resolving any concerns or complaints.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including load information, driver schedules, and communication logs.
Compliance: Ensure that all dispatch activities comply with relevant regulations, including hours-of-service rules, safety standards, and company policies.
Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively resolve any logistical challenges or emergencies that arise during transportation, such as traffic accidents or mechanical breakdowns.
Coordination: Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, operations, and maintenance, to optimize fleet efficiency and address any operational issues.
Qualifications:
Intermediate / Graduation
Fresh to months experience
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
