Job description

To do the necessary cable pulling, jointing, and splicing on the site as instructed by the supervisor to complete the project on time.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Termination and Splicing of SM and Ribbon Fiber optic cable ( , , , , , , , , ) .
· Testing of fiber optic cable through the OTDR, lesser light, and talk set.
· Responsible for the smooth operation of OFC ( F/ F/ F / F/ F/ F/ F/ F) Cable Laying, Roding, Roping.
· Preparing MDF & IDF equipment and ensure all patch cords are properly dressed.
· Cable preparation, termination, fusion-splicing, testing.
· Conducting Splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber sites and links
· Ensuring all attended sites are clearly labeled before the site inspection.
· Installations, troubleshooting, and maintaining all fiber optic systems on-site and ensure that they are working properly.
· Measuring the signal strength of telephone and internet connections and ensure that there is adequate performance
· Inspecting fiber routes and hub sites as preventative maintenance
· Documenting and reporting on work completed
· Troubleshooting the site issues as per the agreed clients standard
· Pull the cable to the customer end from the MDF room & ODF room.

The ideal candidate should have - qualification and atleast 5 years of experience. The position require splicing, site, supervisor, project, termination, fiber, testing, otdr, cable laying, equipment, preparation, troubleshooting, inspection, telephone, internet, performance, maintenance, reporting, customer, room, benefits, accommodation, transportation, medical, life insurance mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.Salary vary between 18k to 22k (PKR) per month depending upon skills and years of experience candidate got.
