Manages & monitors the effective functioning of all employees involved in Inventory Management.
Plans, organizes and executes an inventory system training program; Develops control mechanisms to ensure the functional integrity of IM department.
Establishes section policies and appropriate monitoring programs;
Researches and resolves inventory and/or system problems;
Reviews ongoing operations of the system to facilitate recommendations for changes to improve procedures;
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes.
Responsible for defining all the new Items in SAP.
Generates IT Document with ref. to Technician from Store to T-Store & print two copies of IT documents signed by Asst. Manager, Store Keeper and Technician.
Implements documented procedures for proper maintenance of store and to ensure balance quantity in all warehouses.
Arranges to dispatch timely delivery of materials from one warehouse to other as on request of Supply Chain Department.
Prepares the Dead/Slow Moving inventories lists and submit it to HOD for review. Preparation of Scrap/Faulty items list for their proper disposal as per company’s policy.
Faulty materials reports checking sent by Assistant Manager/ Inventory Officer for approval to shift into damage warehouse,
To conduct internal audits of store to avoid stock discrepancies. Investigate stock differences pointed out in internal audits and take remedial measures.
Maintain keeps up-to-date required records to fulfill ISO standards and institutes corrective measures stemming from periodic audit.
Technical stock level Management.
Ensures smooth and accurate entries of all the incoming/outgoing goods in SAP on daily basis.
Follow-up of material requests with the Supply Chain dept. to ensure timely supplies at the factory.
To assist external auditors in carrying out audit of inventories on monthly basis. And plan/assist in our internal stock taking of entire stocks, as and when required basis.
Discuss the issues in relation to inventory Management with Operative Director.
Ensures that the stock, both in SAP / Bin Cards, is updated at all times.
Create draft GI (Goods Issue Document) after verification of Material Used.
Defines the minimum, maximum and reorder levels of inventory items.
Maintains the critical items as per defined levels.
