Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager for our textile mill, an individual who possesses a strong background in fashion retail operations. This crucial role involves overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of textile products within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a thorough understanding of warehouse management, and a keen eye for fashion retail specifics.

Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management:
Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company standards.
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of textile products.
Inventory Control:
Implement and maintain inventory management systems to accurately track stock levels, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy.
Strategically plan and manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
Team Leadership:
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring optimal performance, productivity, and a positive work environment.
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team adheres to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing products, maintaining high standards in handling, packaging, and shipping to meet customer expectations.
Collaboration and Communication:
Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, manufacturing, and sales, to coordinate seamless operations and meet organizational goals.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on warehouse activities and performance metrics.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement within warehouse operations, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Continuously review and optimize warehouse processes and workflows.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience (X years) in warehouse management within the textile industry, specifically in a fashion retail environment.
Strong understanding of inventory management systems and proficiency in relevant software applications.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within warehouse operations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
