Description

Main Responsibilities Fundraising–Help develop new and existing relationships with trusts and foundations to secure funding. Fundraising through bespoke proposals and reports, telephone or face to face meetings as appropriate. Working with senior stakeholders including CEOs, Directors, and Trustees.Research–Work with the International Trusts Manager to identify potential new supporters to help develop a strong pipeline of prospective trust and foundations to research and approach. Make recommendations based on information gathered from research and philanthropic history and behaviours Support–Support the International Trusts Manager in writing proposals, reports and letters, updating records on the central Fundraising database (Progress). Events–represent Sightasvers at internal and external events Mailings–Assist in researching, designing, writing and sending mailings to new and existing trusts and foundations.Wider team -Participate inwiderteam meetings and contribute to planning sessions for the Trusts and Foundations Team and Major Giving Team.



Overall Purpose To generate funds from grant making trusts and foundations.
Work Schedule:

    Mostly business hours. However, business hours can occasionally extend into the evenings and weekends depending on workload.
    Flexibility & commitment is a must.
