Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and deadlines.

Manage and process Form , including the accurate preparation of annexures as required.

Generate and submit quarterly tax and sales reports, including VAT, GST, or other applicable returns.

Reconcile financial data to ensure tax reports are accurate and discrepancies are resolved efficiently.

Monitor and update tax policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Liaise with tax authorities and handle tax audits or queries.

Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., accounting, finance) to ensure proper alignment and reporting of tax-related information.

Maintain up-to-date records of tax filings and ensure timely submissions of all required documents.

Provide support in analyzing and interpreting new tax regulations and their impact on the company.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CA (inter), Or have only done articleship, ACCA, ICMA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate environment or manufacturing firm.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in tax software and financial management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
