Manage and coordinate product development projects.
Manage day-to-day activities of the Development team including coaching and mentoring members of the team. Contribute to the technical architecture of solutions, in conjunction with Technical Leadership, relating to technology selection, design and documentation.
Take ownership of the delivery of the development team, including setting KPI's and goals for individuals and teams.
Leverage your people skills and commercial acumen to ensure that the development team understands how their efforts impact the delivery of commercial products and provide estimates for delivery to your stakeholders. Help ensure code quality, identify and promote coding standards, test coverage, and design.
Champion automated testing practices and secure coding in the team. Develop and implement automated and repeatable processes.
Ensure team documentation is created and maintained for current and new architecture, process flows, and knowledge sharing.
Identify risks, manage issues, and drive stakeholders to deliver on time and to quality standards.
Keep your technical skills up to date by assisting with features and bug fixes. Take ownership of platform availability and resilience. Lead all operational aspects of the development team including customer support. Involvement in new product concept brainstorming meetings. Work with compliance departments regarding compliance issues.
Accountable for the management, mentoring, motivation and career development of Development Team members. Provide regular progress and performance reports for the group’s COO and CTO.

Proven track record in nurturing and managing high performing software development teams. Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure.
Demonstrated abilities in engaging people in career development, helping them to build a plan, and have coached them to see it become a reality.
Have proven experience in hiring and onboarding technical roles as well as performance and team management.
Can remain consistently reliable and flexible to the changing environment and priorities of the business. A passion for innovation and continuous improvement on technologies and information systems.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with specific attention to quality and detail.
Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), scalable architecture and building products to meet / availability.
A solid understanding of CI/CD (continuous improvement / continuous delivery) principles and practices. Solid written and verbal communication skills are required.
