Description

Project description:

We are looking to fill the position of Senior Hydropower Engineer (Civil) at Master Group of Industries, for our upcoming MW hydropower project in District Chitral, which is currently in its pre-financial close phase. The position will initially be based in Lahore. Once the Project commences construction, the position will be transferred to the site to oversee construction activities.

Responsibilities:

 Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc)

 Review and analysis of technical and feasibility studies and preparation of plans that satisfy technical specifications

 Coordination with EPC Contractor and external technical advisor to finalise technical design and EPC Contract in the pre-construction phase

 Liaison with EPC Contractor and coordination of site teams for implementation of Project in accordance with good design practices during the construction phase

 Assess potential risks, materials and costs

 Monitoring of project construction progress and ensuring timely reporting to senior management on all key issues

 Resolve emerging problems/deficiencies effectively and creatively

 Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders

 Manage budget and purchase materials

 Comply with guidelines and regulations regarding permits, safety, etc.

 Liaison with relevant government agencies to ensure compliance with all regulations and requirements
