About the Company:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Tendering & Proposal Engineer to assist the team leader in the preparation and submission of technical and commercial bids for the supply of electrical equipment tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Management:

Analyze tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, BOQs, technical specs) from WAPDA, NTDC, DISCOs, KE and other public/private entities.

Identify project requirements, technical compliance needs, and commercial clauses.

Bid Preparation:

Prepare comprehensive technical proposals including compliance matrices, solution descriptions, equipment data sheets, and project methodology.

Coordinate with suppliers and OEMs for pricing, delivery terms, and technical documentation.

Develop commercial proposals including cost estimation, financial models, and pricing structures in compliance with tender conditions.

Coordination & Documentation:

Collaborate with internal departments engineering and procurement to gather required inputs.

Liaise with contractual and regulatory compliance.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of bids as per tender deadlines.

Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

Follow-ups & Clarifications:

Monitor bid status and respond to client queries and clarifications during the evaluation period.

Database & Reporting:

Maintain a database of submitted bids, win/loss record, feedback from clients, and pricing benchmarks.

Provide regular reports and updates to management.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

- years of relevant experience in tendering or proposal engineering, preferably in the power or energy sector.

Strong knowledge of tendering processes, especially in Pakistan (PPRA, WAPDA, NTDC, DISCOs, etc.).

Proficient in MS Office, especially Word Excel and AutoCAD.

Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and government procurement procedures is advantageous.

Key Competencies:

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Negotiation skills with vendors and stakeholders.

Team player with a proactive attitude and high integrity.

IT skills

Basic hardware configuration, troubleshooting printing knowledge on professional printers

Desirable:

Experience with international bids (ADB, World Bank-funded projects).

Project Management or Proposal Writing certifications.
