Job Title: Senior Estimation Engineer

Location: Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Position Overview
We seek an experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. You will lead the preparation of precise cost estimates for steel storage tanks, process equipment, and piping systems, ensuring alignment with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and local standards. Your expertise will drive project efficiency through rigorous quantity surveying and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Review tender documents, technical specs, and engineering drawings.
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates (materials, fabrication, welding, erection, painting, testing, commissioning).
Manage end-to-end tendering processes from initiation to submission.
Develop Work/Cost Breakdown Structures (WBS/CBS) and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations and negotiate costs.
Initiate technical queries and compile data for accurate estimations.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering solutions.
Maintain updated cost databases with market trends and historical data.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: + years in estimation (oil/gas, construction, or process industries).
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and local client standards.
Expertise in ASME, API / , and industry codes.
Strong grasp of welding procedures, NDT, and fabrication.
Market Insight: Solid understanding of Saudi market rates, suppliers, and labor norms.
Tools: Skilled in estimation software, MS Office, and project management tools.
Certifications (Preferred): AACE-CCP/CEP.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
Language: Fluency in English (Arabic advantageous).
