Description
Key Responsibilities Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for raw materials, consumables, and services.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure timely supplier confirmations.
- Maintain approved vendor lists and monitor supplier performance.
- Coordinate with production and planning teams to monitor inventory levels.
- Forecast material requirements and plan procurement accordingly.
- Control procurement costs and ensure optimal stock availability.
- Ensure materials meet required quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control department for inspection and approvals.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and SOPs.
- Maintain complete procurement records including POs, invoices, GRNs, and contracts.
- Prepare procurement and vendor performance reports.
- Support budget monitoring and cost analysis.
- Liaise with Production, Stores, Logistics, and Finance departments.
- Follow up on deliveries and resolve supply delays or discrepancies.
QualificationsEducation
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
- Good analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

The ideal candidate should have bachelor degree qualification and atleast 3 years of experience. The position require bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement mandatory skills.
