JOB GRADE TITLE: Senior Officer

DEPARTMENT/PROJECT: Communications Department

REPORTING TO: Team Lead, Communications & Design

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time Contractual (Close-ended), months

LOCATION: Karachi, Pakistan.

JOB PURPOSE

The incumbent will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos to be used on different social media platforms. He/She will also be responsible for designing basic communication collateral for a variety of mediums and audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Apply visual design best practice principles to the design and development of content and interactive elements (graphics, videos, animations, music, dialogues, effects etc.), while maintaining institution branding/graphics standards.

Manage multiple, simultaneous projects to reach targets and staying on schedule time.

Create multimedia content for a variety of media platforms.

Provide initial conception (storyboarding, etc.) and estimates for media development.

Develop layout and concept designs for approvals.

Collaborate closely with program managers on all aspects of projects, including planning, content, production level and platforms, turnaround time, corrections and approvals.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

Required Qualification

Bachelor's in Media Sciences

Required Experience

Graphical Design Skills

Proficiency with video/audio recording equipment

Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects and Audition)

Field Implementation and Service Delivery

Writing, editing, designing, videography, or photography skills

A decent command over Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Creativity
