Job Description for Java Developer

Arittek is looking for a Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

Java developer responsibilities include designing, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

• Collaborating on requirements and solutions with team.

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code

• Maintain standard compliance

• Prepare and produce releases of software components

• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

• Good concepts of OOP and data structures.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Minimum Experience - years

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering

• Experience in Java development

• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms

• Interest and experience in Core Java, J EE, Spring Framework, RDBMS, Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON.

• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA , Hibernate)

• Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer

• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)

• Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
