GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

We seek a highly qualified Senior MS SQL & PostgreSQL Server Database Engineer/Architect to support our MS SQL & PostgreSQL Servers. The Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, diagnosis, and performance tuning of critical MS SQL & PostgreSQL Server database systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ SKILLS

Provide DBA support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness.

Provide accurate and creative solutions to user problems of moderate nature to ensure user productivity.

As a Senior Database Administrator, you are instrumental in searching, evaluating, designing, testing, recommending, and planning implementation of new version of MS SQL & PostgreSQL and database tools.

May act as a team lead during database implementations and for system operation & maintenance.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring others.

This person will be responsible to build out our DBA practice supporting US Healthcare solutions.

Build & maintain MS SQL Server & PostgreSQL Server.

Performance tuning, query analysis, and maintenance routines. · Document configuration and optimization procedures.

Troubleshooting and proactively managing highly technical system issues at tier-II support to the Incident Management and Change Management process.

Operate and provisioning into cloud environment.

Azure, Azure pipelines

AWS Ensure that all operational and administration activities are carried out with a focus on security and operational efficiency.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

BSCS or higher IT-related degree or certification.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

+ years of experience supporting relational databases as a DBA.

Solid and modern source control practices, including Git and merge request flows.

Experience/Knowledge about HAPI-FHIR Server / Database will be preferred.
