Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customs & Logistics Assistant. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of customs clearance procedures, logistics operations, and clerical tasks such as documentation and file management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with customs clearance documentation and filing.

• Support the logistics team in tracking shipments and coordinating with transporters.

• Maintain and organize physical and digital records (invoices, bills of lading, GDs, etc.).

• Follow up with concerned departments to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods.

• Perform routine clerical tasks such as data entry, photocopying, and file archiving.

• Communicate with customs agents, freight forwarders, and clients when required.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of customs clearance and logistics operations.

• Minimum intermediate (FA/FSc) or bachelor's degree preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, email handling).

• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a logistics, freight, or customs clearance firm is a plus.

• Familiarity with WeBOC and GD filing will be an advantage.
