Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Cashier Cum Accountant to manage daily cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and support accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.


Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently.
Maintain accurate cash registers and balance them at the end of each shift.
Prepare daily cash reports and submit to management.
Record, verify, and reconcile financial transactions in the accounting system.
Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
Monitor petty cash and maintain proper documentation.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
Provide assistance to the finance team in budgeting and reporting.
Address customer billing or payment-related queries professionally.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as Cashier, Accountant, or in a similar finance role.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP).
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
