JOB GRADE TITLE : Assistant Manager

DEPARTMENT / PROGRAM : Communications Department

REPORTING TO : Program Manager

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Full-time Contractual (close-ended)

LOCATION : Karachi, Pakistan

JOB PURPOSE

The incumbent will be responsible to create and implement communications strategy for the HIV program and grow the qualitative research base for the communications team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementing communications strategy for HIV program in Larkana District

Responsible for developing TV adverts, theater scripts, creating campaigns for public transport and digital campaign initiatives

Coordinating with field teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with community engagement efforts

Design & implement qualitative research to understand community/patient beliefs, attitudes and behavior and test concepts and materials

Strategizing and implementing campaign efforts to maximize impact in community

Work with field teams to implement baseline and end-line assessments

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

Required Qualification

Bachelors' and/or Masters' degree in Communications, Communications Design, Economics, Journalism and Marketing.

Required Experience

- years of experience in a relevant communications position

Required Skills

Strong written and spoken communication skills in Urdu, Sindhi and English.

Proficient in MS Office

Hand-on experience on Word Press

Strong attention to detail

Organizational skills

Ability to navigate through various qualitative software
