Job Description:
An Accounts Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of a company.
They play a crucial role in the organization's financial health by ensuring accurate reporting, effective financial planning, and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:·
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.·
Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.·
Monitor financial performance and provide insights on variances and trends.·
Develop annual budgets in collaboration with other departments and top management.·
Forecast future financial trends based on market analysis and present the financial outlook to management.·
Monitor budgetary control and take corrective actions when necessary.· Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.·
Ensure timely processing of vendor payments and customer invoices.·
Monitor outstanding receivables and implement collection strategies.· Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with tax authorities.·
Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.·
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and adjust financial strategies and practices accordingly.·
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, investments, and cost-saving initiatives.·
Evaluate the financial impact of various scenarios and provide recommendations.·
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.·
Utilize accounting software and ERP systems proficiently for accurate record-keeping and financial analysis.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree and/or professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a plus).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial analysis techniques.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
