Description

As a Tax Executive Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing our tax strategies to minimize liabilities. You will work closely with our finance team and external advisers to manage all aspects of tax planning, reporting, and compliance. The candidate should have a strong background in accounting, tax law, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations

Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations

Assist with tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiencies and minimize liabilities

Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during tax audits and inquiries

Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters

Stay current on tax law changes and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities and risks

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA, CA (inter)CPA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of - years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate environment or manufacturing firm.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in tax software and financial management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
