A private transaction platform, analytics, and data company is seeking to hire a Senior Architect/Developer to assist Glassboard Tech’s engineering team, a team leading back-office investors, serial entrepreneurs, and expert technology professionals. Our team has designed, developed, integrated, and deployed scalable, durable, enterprise-grade SaaS FinTech solutions around the world. Glassboard Tech’s solution is a mobile-first design to track deals (pipeline management), CRM, deal database, deal room banking integrations and more.

Job Description:

The primary initiative of Senior Architect/Developer is to build new platform tools for delivering services to private equity and venture capital clients from existing concepts and software. This is a Full Stack position actively building/coding. The team is currently using MERN stack and AWS. The Senior Architect/Developer will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee activities, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the company.

Duties include:

Accountable for the design, development, testing, deploying, maintain, and improving our software

Oversees the preparation and final approval of project plans.

Establishes and implements the strategic direction of the company’s engineering and development initiatives.

Collaborates with the company’s executive leadership to develop and meet organizational goals while supplying expertise and guidance on projects, operations, and systems.

Identifies, recommends, and implements new technologies and systems to improve organizational processes and decision-making.

Ensures that departmental decisions such as staffing, development, organization, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organizations business plan and vision.

Establishes, communicates, and implements engineering and development policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent operations.

Establishes and administers the department’s budget.

Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in engineering and development related to the organizations industry.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following traits and knowledge:

Minimum years software engineering experience or major skills

Experience in leading small, agile, high performing teams

Experience with Amazon web services such as EC and S .

High scalability projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation.

Successful track record of developing quality software products.

Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP and API design for extensibility and portability.

Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development.

Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

Knowledge including Node.js, React, MongoDB, JSON, XML, REST, NoSQL Database, Microservices, RDBMS, MVVM frameworks, Enterprise Design Patterns, Javascript, Express. Experience as an applications programmer on large-scale database management systems.

Experience writing SQL queries for SQL Server or another Relational Database.

Knowledge of computer equipment and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.

Communicate across different teams and competing priorities to build the defined objectives
