Qualification : BE Metallurgy and Materials Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
Experience : Minimum to years in oil and gas industry.
Manager QA/QC – Oil & Gas (Storage Tanks, Pressure Vessels , Process Equipment,piping and structures)
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing and ensuring the highest standards of Quality Assurance and Quality Control throughout the design, fabrication, inspection, and installation of storage tanks, pressure vessels, and process equipment.
Leads QA/QC site teams, maintains compliance with international codes and client specifications, and ensures that all work is executed in accordance with project quality plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement QA/QC plans, ITPs, and procedures for tanks, vessels, and process equipment.
Ensure fabrication and installation meet ASME, API, and ISO standards.
Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualifications (WPQ).
Oversee inspection, testing, and documentation for equipment such as columns, heat exchangers, reactors, separators, and piping.
Supervise NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT) and ensure correct interpretation of results.
Conduct material inspections, verify MTCs and traceability throughout manufacturing.
Manage shop and site QA/QC teams, ensuring proper coordination between design, fabrication, and construction departments.
Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAR/PAR), and maintain QA/QC records.
Lead internal and external audits and coordinate with third-party inspectors and clients.
Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII, IX, API / / , and ISO : Quality Management Systems.
Oversee final inspections, hydrotesting.
