Description

JD for Manual Software QA Tester.

As a Manual QA will carry out manual tests to ensure the software created meets the requirements. This involves the analysis of software to prevent issues and fixing bugs before the product is dispatched to users. You are expected to be familiar with API’s and API testing. You will be working with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with software code.

QA Tester Responsibilities:

Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
Executing tests on source code.
Analyzing test results and reporting to the development team.
Working with the development team to correct bugs and errors.
Running regression and sprint level testing.
Reporting bugs in jira
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Help troubleshoot issues

QA Tester Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
A good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies.
years' experience in QA testing.
Good team working and critical thinking skills.
Good knowledge of API and API testing tools such as Postman.
Experience in project management and QA methodology.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.

The ideal candidate should have graduate qualification and atleast 2 years of experience. The position require api testing, qa tester, scripts, source, reporting, regression, jira, programming, project management, agile, regression testing mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time evening shift job.
