Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist line manager in scrutinizing Fire & Miscellaneous Claim files and documents submitted by divisions for settlement / approval.
- Ensure and implement claims manual, SOPs and Process Flows within TAT in Miscellaneous claims.
- Ensure adequate reserve of claims at all times in all the divisions.
- Ensure complete record maintenance and monitor the progress of all claims of Fire & Miscellaneous.
- Ensure that special attention is given to claims whose loss date is before the policy inception date, after the expiry period and same as the policy issue date.
- Responsible for the submission of cotton ginning losses approval and loss statement.
- Responsible to assist line manager for the submission of monthly data regarding Reserves / Paid / Outstanding and Intimated Claims.
- Review claim intimation report on daily basis and submit to line manager.
- Correspondence with the divisions and surveyors for any lapse in documentation required or submitted for expeditious settlement of a claim.
- To prepare and maintain different dimensional reports for intimation, paid & outstanding claims on monthly and quarterly basis and also prepare and maintain required claim reports for “Business Review & Planning Group” BRPG Meetings on monthly basis.
- Qualification Graduation/ MBA/ MCOM Insurance
- Experience - years relevant experience
- Good Communication skill written and spoken Good command on MS Office
- Ability to learn & adapt quickly
- Should have good analytical skills & problem-solving attitude
