This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of electrical systems within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Islamabad Pakistan
Job Summary: The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in our pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure uninterrupted power supply and optimal functioning of electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
Designing electrical systems: Develop electrical system designs and specifications in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines for new projects and modifications to existing facilities.
Installation and maintenance: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, including power distribution systems, motors, lighting, and control systems. Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Power supply management: Coordinate with utility providers to ensure uninterrupted power supply and implement backup power solutions, such as generators and UPS systems, to safeguard critical operations.
Troubleshooting and repairs: Diagnose electrical system malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Respond to emergency situations promptly and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Compliance and safety: Ensure adherence to local and international electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records of electrical system designs, maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and performance metrics. Prepare reports, technical documents, and presentations as required.
Team collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to provide technical support, address electrical system requirements, and ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with production processes.
Continuous improvement: Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for process optimization, energy efficiency improvements, and cost savings in electrical system operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional certifications or postgraduate qualifications in electrical engineering are advantageous.
Experience: Minimum [X] years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory compliance is desirable.
Technical expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, control systems, instrumentation, and automation. Proficiency in electrical design software, CAD tools, and relevant industry standards.
Problem-solving abilities: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions. Ability to work under pressure and resolve emergencies promptly.
Communication and teamwork: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
Safety focus: Demonstrated commitment to adhering to electrical safety protocols and promoting a safety culture within the organization.
