Description

Communicates effectively and professionally with internal clients and third parties including governmental departments, external legal counsel, potential lenders, potential investors, contractors etc.

o Assists in the preparation of project presentations.

o Coordination with external legal counsel with regards to documentary requirements of upcoming projects, including but not limited to EPC contracts, financing agreements, power purchase agreements, implementation agreements, land lease agreements etc. Ensures that the project company’s requirements and interests are being incorporated into legal documents by external legal counsel.

o Drafting of basic legal documents such as MOUs and NDA’s to facilitate day to day activities of business development department

o Participating in meetings and negotiations and effectively recording all discussions during such meetings o Preparation of Statement of Qualification documentation and bidding documents in accordance with the requirements of relevant government agencies, in so far as they relate to legal and documentary requirements. Coordination with finance and other internal departments to ensure timely submission of required information.
