Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities, building relationships with partners and stakeholders, and managing projects to achieve growth objectives. You will work closely with the senior team to develop and implement strategies that will increase the organization's revenue and impact.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the development sector, including grants, contracts, and partnerships.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations.

• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and impact, including marketing and outreach campaigns, project management, and fundraising efforts.

• Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they meet project goals and are delivered on time and within budget.

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the development sector.

• Develop proposals, reports, and presentations to communicate the organization's mission, goals, and achievements to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement projects that address social and environmental challenges.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in business administration, economics, international development, or a related field.

• At least years of experience in business development or project management in the development sector.

• Strong linkages in government sector and donor agencies/ communities.

• Solid experience in management consultancy and NGO sector

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

• Proven track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing projects, and achieving growth objectives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

• Experience in fundraising and proposal writing for grants.

• Knowledge of social and environmental issues in the development sector.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

The ideal candidate should have masters qualification and atleast 6 years of experience.
