Job Description
. Monitoring Content
- Newspaper (English and Urdu)
- Emails (Google Alerts)
. Preparing Content
- Create an excel sheet with marked news clippings
- Create an excel sheet of Content monitoring
- Write and send RTI letters or fill application forms to Public Information Officers
- Write and send RTI reminder letters
- Write and send RTI letters to Ombudsman
. Uploading/Sharing
- Upload news on PPF, PGN, FOE, PIW and Pakistan Radio News Network websites
- Share link of news on Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, and Google+)
. Documentation
- Maintain Task Sheet
- Maintain News Clipping Sheet
- Maintain FOE Sheet
- Maintain Content Monitoring Sheet
- Maintain Media Attack sheet (injured journalists)
. Team Support
- Coordination with Associate Coordinator, Chairman, GM and Coordination
. Miscellaneous
- Any other task assigned by authorities
- Attend seminars
Job Specification
AsiaNet Pakistan is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Assistant Coordinator - Media in the field of Writing/Editing in one of their office located in Karachi - Pakistan. The ideal candidate should have bachelors in mass communication qualification and atleast 1 year of experience. The position require monitoring, content, newspaper, excel, sheet, news, application, forms, public, radio, media, documentation, team, support, coordination, seminars mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.Salary vary between 22k to 30k (PKR) per month depending upon skills and years of experience candidate got.
