Description

1. Discuss the ideas, objectives, requirements and budget of a project and in some cases help to select a site
2. Assess the needs of the building and its users, advising the client on the practicality of their project
3. prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to the client
4. assess the impact on the local environment
5. Use IT in design and project management, specifically using computer-aided design software
6. Keep within financial budgets and deadlines
7. Lead and develop projects from early concept through design development
8. Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents
9. Design and document commercial and residential projects
10. Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions
