About the Team:
looking for experienced geopolitical experts to join the Geopolitical Risk team.
Purpose of the Position:
You will be part of the Geopolitical Risk team that delivers trust-worthy insights to help clients navigate geopolitical risk.
In this role, you will:
a. Policy and Situation Analysis: Conduct independent research on global and regional international relations developments and hot-button issues (e.g., geopolitics, international economic rules, global governance, regional cooperation, etc.) in line with client business needs, deliver professional reports, policy recommendations and trend forecasts to support client decision-making.
b. Evaluation Team Communication and Coordination: Maintain regular communication with project managers to update research progress, answer professional inquiries, and optimize consulting content based on client feedback; participate in client-related meetings and provide on-site professional support when necessary.
c. Resource Integration: Leverage personal networks and resources in government, international organizations and international relations fields to assist clients in connecting with industry experts or relevant institutions and manage operational risks.
Skills and Experience that will lead to success:
a. At least years of work experience in government agencies (foreign affairs, commerce, diplomacy, international cooperation and other relevant positions) or international organizations, with familiarity with policy formulation, implementation or international cooperation processes.
b. Academic Background: Master’s degree or above in international relations, international politics, diplomacy, area studies, international public policy or related fields.
c. Writing Skills: Excellent written and verbal English skills; able to independently draft professional analysis reports, policy proposals and other documents with precise language and clear structure.
d. Communication Skills and Extensive Networks: Outstanding cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills; able to effectively leverage personal networks to engage with governments, international organizations and overseas partners, and clearly convey professional views and client requirements.
e. Sense of Responsibility and Execution: Required to ensure timely response, complete research and consulting tasks with high quality on schedule, and take responsibility for the quality of deliverables.
Work Arrangement and Remuneration:
a. Work location can be remote.
b. Work Arrangement: Part-time position on a project basis. Each project generally lasts - days with flexible working hours. Regular progress updates shall be provided, and specific schedule is negotiable.
c. Remuneration: Competitive part-time compensation will be offered, comprehensively determined based on project difficulty, workload and report quality.
