This role will lead the development of distribution channel strategies and related go-to-market designs for Commercial growth to maximize the effectiveness of existing relationships and investments with channel partners – as well as help support new relationships. This leader will deliver the overall Commercial Channel Strategy development and its execution, including executive roll-up communications and/or reporting. This leader may also lead the tactical go-to-market planning for related strategies for product/service distribution and build the roadmap for implementation – using market research and data analysis. Cross-enterprise and cross-functional collaboration will be needed with sales, communications, data analytics, and reporting, product, B B pursuits, marketing, and others as needed.
• Targeting new potential channels and building the business case for the value of their portfolio.
• Managing the health and success of current channel partnerships and go-to-market strategies. Often, strategies/strategic initiatives fail because there is not a robust plan targeting market launches and the key roles distribution channel partners (e.g. Principals, manufacturers) play. This role will be integral in helping to bridge these gaps for Commercial lines of businesses.
Initially, this role will also provide some interim channel strategy support to help identify needs and synergies with Consumer related Products (FMCG/CPG Division).
